  5. You actually make it seem so easy with your presentation but I find this topic to be really something that I think I would never understand. It seems too complicated and extremely broad for me. I am looking forward for your next post, I will try to get the hang of it!

  6. Hi there

I was wondering if perhaps you could be so kind as to share which branch of Paribas you ultimately went to and who helped you? My husband and I plan to travel for a year abroad in Paris (we’re self employed and can work remotely) and quite honestly we need all the help we can get to open an account. Would love to have the aid of your oh so kind banker :)

    • Hi Bianca,

Congratulations on your decision to move to Paris! It’s funny that you ask about our banker because we just received a message yesterday saying that he had left Paribas! Although he specifically was very helpful, I found everyone I interacted with at the branch to be nice. Here is the address:
      BNP Paribas
      Agence Lamarck Caulaincourt
      95 rue Caulaincourt
      75018 Paris
      France
Also, a nice bonus with Paribas when you travel is that there are sister banks in other countries from which you can withdraw money for no charge.
Good luck and let me know if you have any other questions!
